‘Wonderfully chaotic’: Trenton man celebrates $1 million lottery win

Timothy Annett of Trenton won $1,032,525.40 in LOTTARIO

A Trenton man is more than a million dollars richer after a lottery windfall last month.

Timothy Annett, a material handler, claimed a total of $1,032,525.40 from the April 13 LOTTARIO draw. He explained that he won on a ticket he found in his car he’d forgotten about.

“I considered picking up a LOTTARIO ticket while at the store but decided against it because I noticed the jackpot had recently been won,” he shared with OLG at their prize centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

“I went back out to my car and noticed I already had a LOTTARIO ticket in my centre console. I scanned the ticket on the OLG app, and I was shocked! I couldn’t believe that it was my ticket that had won the jackpot! I walked back into the store in a daze. It was a wonderfully chaotic experience!”

Annett said he was immediately struck by what this win will mean to him.

“I was shaking, and my mind was racing,” he said. “I feel so much gratitude and I am so thankful for this blessing!”

Annett plans to purchase a house as well as travel and experience adventures all over the world.

The winning ticket was purchased at The Round Hill Gas Station on Highway 33 in Trenton.
