Unauthorized sexual enhancement products seized from Belleville convenience store

On Friday, March 1, Health Canada reported that a number of unauthorized sexual enhancement products were seized from a Belleville convenience store.

A total of 11 products were seized from College Street Variety, located at 93 Baldwin Street, which Health Canada says contain hazardous ingredients such as Sildinafil and Tadalafil.

“Unauthorized health products have not been approved by Health Canada, which means that they have not been assessed for safety, effectiveness and quality,” the organization says.

These “unauthorized sexual enhancement products that may pose serious health risks. The products are labelled to contain or have been tested and found to contain dangerous ingredients.”

People are urged to stop using these products, and consult a health care professional if they have health concerns.
