Trenton snowmobile operator taken to hospital after collision with tree

Killaloe OPP report that a Trenton snowmobile operator received injuries after a collision in Hastings Highlands.

Police say that on Feb. 19, just after 12:30 p.m., members of the Killaloe OPP Detachment, assisted by members of the Bancroft OPP Detachment, responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a snowmobile on the OFSC B106E trail, west of 127 Highway.

The 54-year-old operator from Trenton suffered a loss of control and struck a tree. The operator was transported to hospital by paramedics with minor injuries. The snowmobilie required towing.
