Trenton woman charged with theft of vehicle

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with theft of a vehicle following an investigation that began in June.

On June 13, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Cortland Crescent, Trenton for a reported theft of a motor vehicle. Police say further investigation resulted in suspects being identified, and on Sept. 16, a person was arrested.

Nicole Beaudrie, 39 years old, from Trenton, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Theft of motor vehicle
  • Fail to comply with probation order – Two counts

Charges have not been proven in court.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
