Trenton woman charged in neighbour dispute after paint allegedly thrown onto car

A dispute between neighbours over the weekend led to a Trenton woman being charged, according to Quinte West OPP.

Police say that on Oct. 22, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Maple Street in Quinte West for reports of a neighbour dispute.

Allegedly house paint had been thrown onto a car; the officers investigated, which led to a person being arrested. 

Nancy Brown, 61 years old, from Trenton has been charged with mischief – destroys or damages property.

This charge has not been proven in court.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Nov. 16.
