The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is hosting a second public information centre (PIC) for the study on intersection improvements at Highway 62 and County Road 1 (Schoharie Road).

The drop-in style PIC will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 4-7 p.m. at the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street).

The purpose of the PIC is to:

  • Answer any questions

Stantec Consulting will undertake a preliminary design and class environmental assessment for improvements at the intersection.

This study includes reviewing existing conditions, developing and evaluating intersection improvement alternatives and developing environmental protection and mitigation measures.

The notice for the second PIC can be reviewed here.

Study information including notices, background information, and PIC displays are available here, and comments and questions to the study team can be submitted on the study website.
