At about 10:30 am on Monday, Jan.15, Belleville police responded to a complaint regarding multiple individuals causing a disturbance in the common area of an apartment building in the city’s downtown area.
Upon arrival, officers engaged with the parties involved. Among them, 32-year-old Ryan Durant, currently without a fixed address, was identified and found to be the subject of several outstanding warrants.
The warrants pertained to charges of mischief, theft under $5,000, and failing to attend court.
In light of the outstanding warrants, Durant was apprehended by the police and is currently being held in custody awaiting a bail hearing. Charges have not been proven in court.
