Belleville police looking to identify suspect in downtown dumpster fire

Just before 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 19, Belleville police responded to reports of a dumpster fire igniting in an alley within the downtown area. Witnesses recounted spotting two individuals exiting the alley shortly after the fire’s discovery. The Belleville Fire Department arrived and brought the fire under control.

Seeking the community’s support, Belleville police are asking for assistance in identifying a person of interest linked to the incident. The individual was described as wearing a blue toque, a black winter jacket, blue jeans, and black boots.
