The Brockville Police Service charged a man with trespassing and mischief after a ‘peeping Tom’ incident.

Police say that on June 27, shortly after midnight, police received a call to the Oak Street area of the city regarding the report of a male looking through a residence’s windows.

“Police attended and it was learned that a 24-year-old, male subject, was trespassing on the property and looking in windows of the residence,” the release says.

Police say that when the home owner noticed and confronted the subject, he “smashed a bottle on the home owner’s vehicle, causing minor damage.”

The subject was located nearby and was arrested. He was held for a bail hearing for the offences of trespass by night and mischief under $5,000.
