Guns, jewellery and more stolen in break-and-enter at Elizabethtown-Kitley home

Leeds OPP are seeking information after rifles, jewellery and more were stolen from a home in Elizabethtown-Kitley.

The incident, which took place on Kitley Line-8 in the Frankville area, was brought to the OPP’s attention on February 28, 2024. However, the exact timing of the break-in remains uncertain, given the home’s unoccupied status for an undisclosed period.

The perpetrator allegedly stole three rifles, which had been secured in a gun safe, as well as jewellry, cash and household items.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed suspicious activities in the vicinity within the past two months is urged to reach out to the Leeds OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
