Construction on Picton Main Street could lead to delays March 12

A contractor is slated to carry out sewer inspections along Picton Main Street on Tuesday, March 12.

The scheduled work, which is expected to begin at 8 a.m., may lead to traffic disruptions in the area, the Prince Edward County says in a media releaese.

The inspections will affect Picton Main Street in the area Spencer Street and about 250 meters to the north. Motorists should anticipate potential delays and exercise caution while travelling through the affected stretch.

The work will involve heavy equipment, which could limit visibility and result in elevated noise levels throughout the day. Pedestrians and motorists are urged to approach the site with care or consider alternative routes to avoid the construction zone.

Traffic control measures will be implemented in the vicinity.
