If you find yourself spending this weekend enjoying the fall weather at Centeen Park in Brockville, you may spot the Ocean Navigator vessel on its way to berth in Brockville on Sunday, Oct. 8. The vessel will also stop in Gananoque the day before.
The cruise ship will be staying in Brockville on Sunday, Oct. 8 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to Brockville’s Best.
Brockvillians are welcome to stop by Centeen Park at 85 Water Street E any time while the vessel is docked to take in its impressive size and beauty.
According to cruisemapper.com, The Ocean Navigator traverses the Great Lakes and its current cruise is an 10-night trip.
The cruise departed from Montreal on Sept. 30, and is passing through locations such as Quebec City, Clayton, NY, St. Catharines and Toronto. The vessel will stop in Gananoque on Oct. 7, before arriving in Brockville the next day. The Ocean Navigator will return to Montreal on Monday, Oct. 9.
Those disembarking the ship on Oct. 8 will be stepping right into Brockville’s downtown core and can easily make their way to the Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing, Canada’s oldest Railway Tunnel, and the Brockville Museum. All of these popular local attractions are no more than a 10-minute walk from Centeen Park.
