Brockville police say they have cleared the crime scenes in both the Pine Street and George Street areas following a home invasion and shooting on Friday night; however, the suspects still remain at large.

“These areas are opened back up to the public,” police said in a Sunday evening social media post thanking the public for their cooperation.

Police are continuing the investigation as the suspects remain at large; however, police emphasize that this was a targeted incident and not a random attack.

“We continue to ask the public to check for any video surveillance footage of suspicious activity involving a small white sedan on Dec. 1 around 8 p.m., police say.

In particular, police would like footage of the area of King Street East from Bennett Street to Court House Ave.

If anyone does have information they wish to provide, you can contact Det. McArthur at 613-342-0127 Ext: 4218 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8744). More information will be released when able as the investigation unfolds.
