The Brockville Police Service has laid charges against a woman after she allegedly stole money, a phone and groceries, as well as damaging the victim’s debit card.

In a media release, police say that on March 2, at approximately 10 a.m., officers responded to a reported theft and property damage incident at the Days Inn hotel on Stewart Boulevard.

Upon investigation, police determined that a 26-year-old female, who was visiting a male occupant who had rented a room, had committed the alleged offences.
