Belleville man charged after break-and-enter at local business

A Belleville man is facing several charges following a break-and-enter that was reported to police on Monday, March 25.

Belleville Police responded to this incident, which happened at an east-end business, on Monday at around 8 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found the entry door to the business had been damaged. After an investigation, officers apprehended Jasson Poirier, 50, of Belleville. He faces charges including break and enter, possession of break-in tools, and possession of stolen property. Charges have not been proven in court.

He was released on an Undertaking with a court appearance scheduled for May.
